I've heard it said that if two people are too much alike, that the relationship will be dull, but I have to disagree. If you have so much in common and you do so many things exactly alike, you would have nothing to argue about and all the time you would normally spend arguing, you could spend loving eachother.

I couldn't deal with a mate who was too much like me. We'd end up doing nothing but staring at our shoes all day. There would need to be common interests, but the ideal mate for me would have to be female and at least somewhat extrovert.
 
if you have NOTHING common, no common-bond -- it's doomed from the start.

it's like a metalhead datig a black r&b singer. Won't last 2 weeks.
 
I think that if 2 people have everything in common except for cheese and mayonnaise (haha) then it would be a life of happiness and understanding rather than fussing and arguing all the damn time!!

that's cool i stay away from mayo.. cheese is ok sometimes.. high in saturated fats though so its best you stay away, no need to wreck that tight little bod you got.

I'm always open for new experiences. We can come from two different places, backgrounds, and races (City & Country; Black & White), listen to different music, etc. His strengths will likely be my weaknesses, and vice versa.

However, our lifestyles, sexual tastes, & beliefs have to be similar. I will not stray from that.
