They can't tell you not to go home dude! Did you ever contact a lawyer? What did he/she say?
Makes me wonder if he ever contacted a lawyer too. $10,000 bail is VERY high, especially for someone who can't afford a lawyer. I was thinking maybe he didn't mean he can't legally go home, but he can't go home because of his legal problems. Or maybe he meant home as his parent's place, which may be out of state, which may account for his not being able to go there after being busted and his high bail amount (little ties to the community). In
my case a public defender was there at the arraignment and knew exactly what to say, I was released without bail on my own recognaizance. Edit: just saw he was on probation, so that is probably why the high bail.

what the fuck???????? if they were in your house then they got your computer anyway and if they didnt then they are stupid cause you said you girl told them it was ordered online
Had something similar happen to me, my apartment was raided but the computer luckily wasn't taken (because I still haven't gotten anything they took back). About a week later the raid made the front page of the local section, the article said the police believed the package they raided my apartment over was ordered over the internet. The only reason I could think of for them not taking the computer was them coming to that conclusion after the raid or they wanted to track my online activities somehow.

now you say "a receipt"???
if you really did that then your a fool, also dumbass if you have a receipt then you ordered with a credit card and it had to have your name for verification.
He seemed to be referring to his hard drive when he mentioned a receipt, so if such a thing existed it would probably be electronic- most likely in the form of an email. You don't need to put anything on a credit card to get an email back confirming the order.

i think you need to stop making up shit and wasting peoples time. if people read your post on threads they will see that your post dont make sense, cause you were just single.....now your not?
then you siad you just got back from reserves but you must have had court dates for what you were just in for???? people are you seeing my point?
As far as I can see, the only reason you think he's making things up is that you can't understand certain things about his problem. Sure. if you scrutinize hard enough you can find things that don't make sense in any story. Since things vary widely on how things are handled in different areas it may seem different from what you heard of before, haziness or ambiguities for obvious reasons may lose you in places, or your own lack of expertise akes you shake your head over certain things- but not being able to understand something doesn't necessarly make it false.
