There's a local ''Strongman'' contest this weekend

It's not a kosher strongman contest its a mix of weights (bench, curl and squat) and some odd object lifting (stone & log lifts) along with the farmers walk and something to do with a beer keg.

I've never gone in for anything like that before but it sounds fun. according to my training bro the favorite is apparently ''twice your size and hes only 21'', but seeing as he can't squat 400 I dont think it's going to be too tough to beat him in the power lifts. I suspect I'll get my ass handed to me in the oo lifting as I've never done anything like that before but it should be a laugh.

this sunday, Heybridge in essex (UK) It's unlikely that any elite bros would be there but you never know. When I get more details I'll post them because I def need some advice on the oo lifts
