Alcohol has been proven to be destructive, not only to the individual using it, but others. I am not for aboloshing it though, we as a society wanted it, and we all share the collective risk for it.enigma4dub said:having gone to a party school in cali (chico state) i saw firsthand what alcohol can do to a student. where is the outcry for alcohol being the cause of societies ills? you either are an addict or you are not.
seems awfully convenient that one can hide behind a prescription for the joose, drink on occasion and at the same time look down on the reefer heads and say its all your fault, marijuana = devil.
With weed, its not as widely used, so it doesn't get the support of the full population. So, the minority, the users, try harder to convince the non users that it is really harmless. I'm not saying its a benign drug, of course it isn't, but I don't think the cons outweigh the pros of it.
