the Universe Is Not "Billions of Years"Old (Imnotdutch)

Ok lets see........yeah I was goofing around about the plagiarising on the essay. I misread what you wrote the first time around. As for cutting and pasting articles.......the articles are not the best and you rarely write your own comments.......I think that you dont understand them.

There are a few areas where religion and science come into conflict (this is largely a problem because int he past religion dominated society whereas now we are dominated by science). Evolution is one such area......however, there are many lines of evidence all pointing towards the same idea........evolution. You can pick on individual lines of evidence as say that they dont prove anything.......but nobody has been able to look at the whole body of evidence and explain it plausibly.

As far as God goes........I am agnostic.......it is plausible that God made the big-bang happen.......but after that science took over. What happened prior to the big-bang is not a question that science can currently answer........I have no problem with religion trying to explain this area.

You are calling me confused when you openly request help in plagiarising an easy paper and do nothing but cut and paste things that you dont understand?

:lmao: I can't believe you just wrote that. you are a child!

How can religion and science co-exist when you deny a key idea in science just because it steps into what you perceive as religions realm. You pick and choose the science that you want to believe even when there is good evidence for evolution........see previous threads because many have presented the ideas.

you'll have to be a little more clear about what you are reffering too their einstein. your damn right a pick and choose! I pick out the bull shit, and choose what has the most logic.

so to make things clear here, you belive god created the big bang? is this what your getting at? do you believe in god?

this is my point sir. something bad happend, or life just sucks, so you CHOOSE not to believe, it is your choice, even though it could be right, or there could be facts, or you could learn and understand, you choose not too. and evolution is forced in high school to be correct.

It's in no way forced, thats the thing I hate the most that your saying. By the time schools bring up the thought, people either believe or don't. They are old enough that they are already religious, or they aren't. Aswell as, at my school atleast, it was nowhere near forced, but taught, and told that it was still scientific theories.

Agreed........a good teacher does not force ideas on people.......he / she shows the logic in the ideas.

this is way far beyond the point. Can you graduate high school without taking a biology class? do they not teach evolution in these classes?

Well I'm not in your country so I wouldnt know.........

But tell me, am I mistaken in thinking that in the USA school kids have to pledge allegiance to 'one nation under God' every day. So kids are brainwashed into believing there is a God.......they have no chance to think about whether God exists. In contrast, evolution is taught for only a short time period.........and then it is presented as a theory not fact.

I didnt think BBB would make himself look even more ridiculous by responding to this.........

You don't have to say the pledge of allegiance. I never did.

sssshhhhhhhhhh I have him fooled..........

But anyway the same would apply to a Christianity based community.

smooth cover up, nice try though. <A>for effort I guess.

It happens to be true........you live in a Christian country and have bought into everythnig that you are told. The same applies to many Muslims (just an example). Fact is, you tend to adopt the religion of your community instead of making an educated choice.

So you gonna answer Normans points now? (I tihnk that was his name).

Quit ducking..........
