Why did they need to insert a PICC line? They're generaly only used for antibiotic treatment and frequent blood draws or transfusions. You are actually quite fortunate to have recieved one rather than just an IV, not all insurance companys cover PICC lines. They are less painfull and easier to manage as well due to the topical anesthetic applied beforehand. Hope you get better soon.

There are no medications to heal the pancreas The only way to heal it is not to use it. I was in the Hospital for 5 days with not eating but did have IV fluid. Once I got home and tried to eat the pain came back. So the Picc line is to administer nutrition for the next few weeks. I weight 95lbs now and can not afford to lose any more
