Me too. Trust me. There will be a sequel....next thing you know you're giving $$ to Christian Science. Somebody gave the DVD to my roommate, but it's on bittorrent too.

So, I guess my point is whether Kleenex and Chapstick are evil for marketing their products to people and becoming a household name? it isn't a rhetorical point that I was making. I was honestly asking when does marketing become evil and why? I guess in my opinion, so long as one believes in their own product's worth to help people, they are not evil in marketing it, even if they market the heck out of it.

Now, if you are marketing some idea, cure, etc. that you know is untrue or worthless, any amount of marketing is evil.

I'm not sure how to successfully express what I'm thinking - it's like Excedrin - a good product, works for some people right? Well, they had to push it one step further and have Sinus Headache, Migraine Headache and market them in as different products in different boxes when they are all the same product. Same ingredients same quantities. It's misleading - it's false.

You can take something positive and helpful and bastardize it into a money making sham and that's what is sad.

I hope that makes sense.

Unless anyone is extremely insulted by something that was typed here and says so at this point - I'll leave it up to Blueta to decide.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm just not sure that the recycling and expanding on an pre-existing idea and marketing to an mass audience would qualify as misleading anyone. That is just me, though. I don't see anything wrong with it so long as one is not plaigarizing, of course.

=-)

i haven't read all of this thread, but to me, its like weight loss programs.
you don't NEED a program if you know what to do, but a lot of people need the instructions and encouragement.
if it works for someone, its good. if it doesn't work, it doesn't mean its not good- it just means it wasn't right for that person.

So, is anything in "the secret" going to be something new or magical? no. but if it helps you become happier and more successful... well then its not so bad.

See there you go posting ficticous things again.

Fortunately I'm not wasting another day sorting out your facts from lies.

Ultimately you'll believe what you want to believe. That's part of your problem.
I was going to let this slide and not bring it up again, but since you called me a liar about what you said to me yesterday in a bomb to try to convince everyone I made it up, let's show who the real liar is.

Here is a link to what you said yesterday:

http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7077246&postcount=45

Now, do you still want to deny it and call ME the liar? Looks pretty apparent who lied.

Now, if you want to attack me poink, aap, or any other little boy, take it to PM's and quit ruining the boards.

I say no lock....besides the silly debate, it's all been pretty informative info in here. Would like to see others add to the "healthy" part of the debate.
