9 out of 10 times, when I ask about the head... I get thhe old.."What the fuck???" or "Why"... or the classic "HAHAHA you had me goin there for a few minutes.." then the realise I am for real... and I am looking for this single hard to find head...... This is a pretty hard one. I got another guy thhat wants me to find him a AMC 390 for his AMX??? Got any ideas for this? I told him to recycle the AMX.

I got a set of 1970 #64's for the 455. That'll raise the compression to about 10:1. I have one 87cc head so I'll poke around till I find the other. Now I might bump the cam up from 224/[email protected]/.488 to Lunati 230/[email protected] just for kicks although I do like the split pattern and would like to see Lunati do a 230/[email protected]/.500. WTF do I know, though, hehe. The only AMX guy I know was redoing my GTO in trade for a 900 horse 433 but the skitzo flaked on me and quit working on it so I can't ask him now. There is a 360 in Boelil Canada. Its pro built, forged pistons, oil system, choice of cam for $1800. I'll pm the number right now. Maybe they can find a 390. check Ebay, too.
