dballer can probably explain this one, but I think it originally was a reference to a comment someone (May1010?) made about turning a thread into a road house sideshow.

Now, I don't know that it's about anything, really. It's just a thread that'll never die.

It was not really intended for that... it is just a thread where me Polar, Dread, Prince and Jeep just shoot the shit.. it would be funny to see it go up to 1000 though.... but then the asshole who locked my Anti-E's and Gays thread and did not sign it would most likley lock this one too.... like the scared little person they are.

Well roadies, I don't know what the future holds for the road-house side show, and anyone is welcome to become a sideshow roadie if you so desire!

So for now, it is just that, a side show!!!But it'll never be like the old days....and if it ever dies, it will still live in my heart forever.

Here's one more...

Once upon a time there was this guy named May1010.. he was always starting up shit with folks on the boards. Even though May and I had different ideals.. I still thought he was funny. One night I was checking out the boards.. and I noticed a thread (locked and deleted now) but the thread was posted by RyanH.
Anyhow, May was on there stirring up problems as usual.. and I was just giggling my ass off reading about how mad May was making Ryan. My giggles turned into downright laughter as Ryan began franticly locking, deleting and editing threads made by or about May. Well of course I could not just sit there and enjoy this event without jumping in somewhere.. so I chose to side with May... due to the fact that he was the one with the sence of humor.

Before long I was being scolded and made fun of by Ryan for sticking up for May1010. But I could have cared less.. I was laughing so hard I just wanted to see more. Ryan was posting all kinds of threads.. and May was right there to take any bit of seriousness out of these threads. In the heat of Mays thread destruction came Ryans immortal rebuttal.......

I will not let you turn this intelligent discussion into a Road-House Side Show.

This comeback had me on the floor. To this day.. I have never laughed that hard... well maybe once when I ate a bunch of mushrooms.. but in this case I was just on alot of coffee.... a day I will never forget. I hope oneday May will return to the boards and begin his terror again.

What is the road house all about? Gee I can't remember. If I was to look back at all the post, it would be like watching old episodes of Married with children.......or maybe Happy days (I'll be fonzy, Dballer reminds me of Chachie......polar is a steal for joanie.........)

I quess you could say that it is a thread that you can check up on your friends, or make new ones. I get to rant and rave without starting a new thread. The people in the roadhouse are ones that I can trust.
