When someone says they are burnt out (or whatever else reason)...

Translation: The series was not picked up for another season, and no other network is interested.

It's how celebs "save face" rather than "We got cancelled and I'm now unemployed".

It's what publicists do all day.

(I think Dave Chapelle is the only one who was truly burnt out - but he fucked over a lot of people who will NOT work with him in the future).

they have all their sponser money though. DC,monster, and every place else they've been or talked about. rob still gets paid to skate and make apperances at skating events. and word on the street is BB and the chunky boys are getting there own show on mtv sometime soon.

Unfortunately, the reality is a bit different. Meaning a "pitch". Anyone can say that (and they do).

IF it gets picked up - you'll see a press release on mtv.com

Until then - you learn to treat it with a grain of salt. I read something like 80% of "pitches" in Hollywood never make it.

Sponsors: Sponsors run to you when you're on TV. When you're off TV - they go to the next guy. Such is life.
