However, I am going to take the position that there is a place for an oral only "cycle" with appreciable gains and no harm to the body.
I take this position from a personal knowledge and experience base that dates back to the 1960's.
People are very comfortable with taking pills. They have been doing this for some reason their entire lives. It is only natural for them to again turn to pills for the muscle performance gains they seek.
It is also easy to understand that people do not like "shots" and avoid them as much as possible. To tell a person to self-administer can be beyond comprehension. I was taught by a Doctor ... not everyone is that fortunate.
So we know our new person is going to take those pills. How best to use them then?
The key is dosage levels and the oral selected. The body is extremely sensitive to any aas. When even the smallest amount of steriods is prescribed for correction of a medical condition, there is a tremendous caution advised. For example, the dosage can be as little as 2 mg of anavar every other day for arthritis.
I would contend that if dosages are kept low ... 10 - 20 mg p/day max ... with a ramp up and ramp down over 6 weeks, the user will experience positive strength, size and mood changes. A large percentage of the growth will be maintained afterwards.
These changes will be positive and significant for a new person. They will allow the person to have this experience without harm to their body, including the liver, so they can decide the next step with some personal knowledge base and confidence. This next step will logically include injectables.
That will still do a number on the liver . . .
