i never have liked the xbox platforms since they came out. Those controllers are pick3.
Im too used to playstation cuz it has been around soo much longer.

For console gaming I'd say I'm sold on the Wii. It looks like it'll be the most fun out of any of them. I may very well get one at launch with the new Zelda game.

ya i lump those in with hitman
i have a gamecube and it was a stupid buy for me - resident evil started making their games for GC first then migrated over to ps2 which i already had. fucking pissed me off. I got mario kart-double dash out it, shit was addicting and fun to play with 4 ppl

i hate gamecube also.
 
I wouldn't play games on PC. A PC is not solely designed for games and if it shits out cuz of overheating then all the other functions of a PC are out of the question

Graphics don't make a game. Nothing new there. Maybe their motion sensitive controller can be used for something worthwhile, but still seems trivial as far as gameplay goes.

I know what you're saying there, but it does hold a lot of options for strategy type games like Command & Conquer, Diablo, etc. It used to be good for fps games too, but now that consoles are developing motion sensored controllers, it seems pc first person shooters will become obsolete.

The commercials make it look cool. The rubix cube one is pretty badass. How this new and unproven technology will hold up is the big question. I'll admit some of its games look cool but nothing worth $600.
Besides a motion sensitive controller with very limited useages, all the PS3 really offers is a graphics update. *yawn*

Looks boring as all the other nintendos that have come out since the SNES.

I cant get into games that look like they're geared towards 10 year olds.

I've come full circle with this dilemma. I've played every type of game under the sun (even a couple banned ones) and realized that about 90% of the reason to play games in the first place is for the gameplay aspect. Everything else is secondary. It'd be time better spent watching a Scorsese or Wes Craven flick than to play another mundane title whose appeal lies in an M rating. It's tough to come up with good videogames these days. It seems everything's been done. Now Wii has something different that could make games fun again, as long as they're not all like you say.
