The Most Overlooked Muscle Builder Available

just read a article that NO2 can rob the body of nutrients
and cuase cellular damage when consumped in even moderate amounts
how do you feel on that nelson? it mentioned that b vitamins are the main cuase no2 seems to affect your bodys b vitamin metabolism

As is often the case with some of these studies they're using extreme examples. First of all, the body makes NO2 on it's own and it's present in some foods. WITHOUT IT there would be cell damage. (It's kind of like testoeterone, too much equals heart damage, too little equals heart damage. just right, you're golden). It's virtaully impossible to ingest that much NO2 and most bodybuilders take a multi which provides more than enough B complex to keep you covered .

Do you guys have something similar to this without the creatine?

Im looking for a high quaility MRP, but dont want the creatine.

You can mix any of the proteins at Protein Factory using the Super Plasma Serum. The creatine in BIG BLAST is the P12 form which isn't as bloating as creatine monohydrate.

how much serving in one container which is 1lbs

Most canisters of protein are at least 2 pounds. So, it's the same as any other protein powder in regard to servings. (A few weeks?)

I always have several protein compounds and flavors in the house so I don't burn out on one thing after a while, so I'm not exactly sure how long any one in particular lasts.

Interesting.

The protein bench is one of my fav sections in the lab and I have done loads of serum protein electrophoresis, or separating a lot of the protein out into the various 'areas' based on size and charge.

40-50% of this is going to be albumin, the other proteins are classified by 'groups':

Albumin and pre-albumin which is transthyrectin (carries thryoid hormone around the body)

Alpha Alpha-1-antitrypsin and loads of others

Beta-1 Think this is where you find HDL and LDL

Beta-2 C3 and C4 which are also acute immune response proteins

Globulins (which is your immunoglobulins or antibodies)

There are HUNDREDS of protein in serum (has fibrinogen in it)/plasma, I just listed the ones I remember that make up most of these 'bands'.

Nelson, please post up some more info on this, I find it fascinating.

A lot of what I have was hardcopy literature sent to me by Alex from Protein Factory who is the biggest protein geek on the planet. Those links were just a few examples.

I'm not sure how interested everyone is in the chemistry involved here. Simply put, protein can be divided in subfractions and the difference between protein sources is nominal, except when dealing with albumin as you mentioned. This is what makes SDPS so interesting. It essentially is what they've been trying to do to make protein more effective for years now. Of course, it wasn't a supplement company that discovered it. But PF were the first people to recognize the studies and actually obtain it and BIG BLAST is the first supplement to contain it.

I don't know how intersting this part is to many people, but here's a little history.

Back in the 60's Rheo Blair came up with what is basically the modern protein supplement. Up to that point it was soy, which was 90% protein and cheap. Perfect! But plant protein is not very absorable and is missing certain essential aminos. Rheo caught that while others didn't. Without getting too involved in the story Rheo was also a proponent of whole egg since egg albumin contains all the ingredients to create living cells. Now, what I did was mix some of Rheos concepts (milk product with whole egg) picked the best protein as the main source (cross filtered whey) added some of the standard weight gain ingredients that are known to work (creatine and NO2), improved the creatine so it wasn't as bloating (p12) included some enymes to help digestion (and old school tactic that has fallen out of favor, I'm not sure why), use hyrolized rice syrup which is fast absorbing but slow digesting, making it great energy souce as well as an ingredient that helps transport the nutrients. It also gives it a clean, natural sweetness. And then included the most recent discovery and the most concentrated protein substance on the planet, Super Plasma Protein.

The result is by far, the most powerful protein concoction on the market and I'm pretty proud of it.

The only drawbacks are the costs. It would take four servings of the SDPP to get 20 grams of protein (based on their 5 grams per serving)

At $43.99 that is a steep price to pay for something you may not be able to stomach.

The only problem (for me) is that I personally am not really into weight gain protein powders. They tend to put fat on me. Not sure if Big Blast would contribute to this the way NLarge or others did.

NO stomach problems at all bro -- less than a creatine drink.

Comparing BIG BLAST to N-Large is like comparing Primobollan to Nestle's Quik.
