Loved this movie, outof allthe comic book moviesthis one was done the closest to the actualcomment, and of course beause no one has any idea how everything went in the comic books, they give it bad reviews saying its qa nother depressicve dark super hero movie! well HELLO, BRUCE BANNER IS JUST LIKE THAT!! in the mags he isn't the Hulk till the end either! can';t jsut walk around destroying things the whole movie....anyways I loved it, Im a huge Hulk fan, know the history of it pretty much form the beginning and I give this movie two big thumbs up

I'll have to watch the final release to make a proper conclusion. I was less than impressed with the work print i saw but I know that was an unfinished work. Do you think it was better than Daredevil. That was a definate so so movie IMO.

I think Daredevil...No matter what, could only have been a so so movie. The character really isn't that exciting, ya know? He doesn't have any really visually fantastic powers, and he's cursed with having a not so glamorous arch enemy (Kingpin). I DO think Daredevil was good for what it was tho.

Yup. I didn't see why Daredevil got a movie but oh well. My favorite part of it when he beat the bullies when he was a kid. That was the only part that I really liked of that movie.

Okay....just got back from seeing the Hulk.

The highlight of the movie? Lou Ferrigno, walking across the screen. And I'm not a big Ferrigno fan.

I'm trying to think of a redeeming quality, really, and I can't. It was just BAD. And I can forgive a lot about comic book movies. Hell, I like Batman and Robin.

This.....this was something else. I don't feel offended or even disappointed as a comic book fan.

I'm just shaking my head at this point.

Saw it tonight as well.
I have to give Ang Lee credit, the visuals were awesome (Hulk being the exception). But the way he mastered the dissolves and split screens to make it seem like an actual comic book.
Some of the dialogue was corny, but again it is supposed to be exactly like a comic book.

Overall I say it was alright, nothing great. Im just glad Eric Bana is going to possibly make it big now.

The whole comic book/panel thing was interesting at first, then it just got annoying. It was badly acted with bad dialogue, the monologue in the middle was unintentionally funny, and the fight scenes were so damned dark you couldn't tell what the fuck was going on.

Wow. Just bad.

I will have to agree with you when it came to the whole Hulk vs Dad duel towards the finale. As well as that annoying military scientist prick.

Could have just said worst movie ever.

Ok..it wasn't the WORST movie ever but it was damn close. The HULK is my favorite comic book character...I wanted to like this movie, but it was impossible. I was surprised that only 4 people walked out of the showing that I saw. When I saw them leave I remember thinking that wasn't a bad idea. However I had to stay to give it a chance to redeem itself...to no avail. And the ending....don't get me started.

$8 and 2 hours of my life that I will never get back....not even ONE quotable line. I mean damn...that was a BAD MOVIE.

Well you guys slamming are pretty saying the same think I thought from watching the movie I downloaded. I rarely go to the movies anymore unless it's something I think is just really gonna be a good big screen experience since I just downloaded whatever and burn them. Looks like I'll have to wait till T3. I still wanna see that on the big screen.

who knows, when it come sto the actual comics, id wager Im king,t hey were my fucking life for years and Ive read a few thousand and I know the entire history of the Hulk and SPider Man, but whatever I think it was on the money, I can go grab an issue right now that has all that father stuff in it, and if its corny? well so is the comic, thats the point

I lvoed when he killed the dogs and beat up the tanks

Austin, did his dad really do all the genetic manipulation stuff from the movie? I don't remember that at all from the comics I read, but I'm more versed on the DC side.

EDIT: Just did some googling, and it looks like they took some creative liberties with the origin, which is what I thought.

But how about the fact Rick Jones was a very major character in the Hulk's world. He's the reason Bruce Banner became the Hulk in the comics and was Hulk's friend. He wasn't even in the movie.

The more I think about it...the more this movie pisses me off. It could have been great.

Started off painfully slow, but once it got going it was okay. The CGI was better than I thought it was going to be based on some of the comments I'd read here.Nowhere near Jurassic Park level, but not the worst I've seen by a long stretch either.

I also enjoyed his fight with the dogs and the tank battle.Their were some serious Hulk fans in my theatre,as some of those mo-fo's were really cheering and getting into it.Overall I'd give the film a B-.

the next one should be better, the only thing I thought got a lil long was the beggining

as for the dad goes., they had to edit some things of course, but Bruce was beaten by him, his dad did kill his mother and Bruce suppressed the memories for years (see issue 375) when he finally confronts his dad who turns into a giant monster in the hypnotic induced dream world Samson put him in, he turns into the new Hulk (green but super smart)

if any of you noticed btw, in the fight with his dad, when he they are hit with the gamma bomb, the dads form turns into that of a big brain, so he may become The Leader, hopefully abomniation is in it next time as well

the dad kinda turned into the absorbing man, which made no sense whatsoever. they should have just turned him into the abomination or some other hulk thing, or better yet, leave him out of the movie. just some scenes to show what he did to bruce's mother would have been enough.

too long

It was a little long..

But I liked it. I thought the effects were good and the story was alright.. I actually paid for this movie instead of downloading it for once... worth the 8$ imo.

well the Leadr was a janitor at th base when the Hul was created, the dad did abuse Bruc and kill i mother and is the source of the repressed rage, I dunno the bsorbing man hing was pushing it a lil bit, should ajust had another monster in there that th army made...eitehr way wth the orignin story out of the way, Im hoping for a good move nex time aound
