It's a choice...you can either be obsessed and not drink and never cheat on your diet, or you can choose to have a good time and still keep yourself good looking. I tend to think most people on this site fall into the first category. But personally I think there's a hell of a lot more to life than training.
By the way, specifically, alcohol lowers test. levels and contains a lot of empty calories. It also dehydrates your system pretty badly unless you drink a ton of water.

Never said I needed alcohol to have fun. I have had a recent period of over 6 months where I haven't had more than a drink or two every few weeks.wnt2bBeast said:nothing wrong with being young and having fun..but when you get older youll realize that you DONT need alcohol to have fun..yeah every now and again its fun to go out with your girl and get wrecked then have monkey sex when you get home

Dehydrated the body.
Depresses the CNS.
Wasted money.
Lowered testosterone levels.
You can't eat alcohol...
It's not okay at all, ideally. Sure, it's unreasonable to tell someone never to drink, but don't go saying it's okay in moderation. Even a drink will have an adverse effect in some way. I don't see it doing anything productive for your body.
That's not to say I will oppose a drink once in a while, to lighten the mood with friends and relax. It's just not an all the time thing, but it's still never beneficial to you.
