The demise of Anthony Clark

Sad news.....Anthony Clark passed away due to a massive heart attack.
There was a long history of heart disease in his family. A Memorial
will be set up at Forest Park Funeral Home in Clear Lake, TX on
Tuesday or Wednesday for family and friends. Anthony was one of the
greatest legends in the sport and reponsible for giving our sport a
lot of publicity and "positive" exposure with the general public. He
will be greatly missed by many.

My son went with me to a meet Anthony and I ran together a few years
ago. My boy was 9 at the time. Now a teenager he still often speaks
about meeting this great legend. Anthony had a great influence on
kids and was well liked by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest in Peace Anthony.
