The Deadlift

At first I wondered whether the small throttling sound the makes towards the end might be that of a double biceps tear. He looks very pleased with himself when he finishes but it's a shame he didn't make it all the way to overhead.

LMAO
I was expecting some beast to bending bars, not some loon trying to hump a bar :p
how much do you think is on there?

Even though I've seen such scenes before in a lot of gyms, it is still stunning to watch.

He sure hit that lower lumbar area ...
From the rounded back to the overloaded partials ....

Now he'll register with this site and ask for a source because he isn't making gains.

That was a thing of beauty! :lmao:

If you were impressed with his deadlift, then you should be in utter AWE of these squats!

Another example of a high school football / "weightlifting" coach with a 500# squatter on his team. Same kid probably benches 385# (with a 2" range of motion at the top).

I was just thinking he probably practices that as his technique on squats. Imagine the look on his face if anyone were to tell him that he's supposed to go all the way down with the weight.

He'd tell you not to be so stupid since the bounce-bars don't go that low.

What, you go below 2"? My coach told me that was bad for your shoulders, anyway I have to drop the weight from 450 to 165 if I touch my chest with the bar - I'd rather build more muscle with the heavier weight.

lol... thanks for the link sis...

I have to see if i can find it, but i have pics of the WORST form i've ever seen at a meet. i can't believe the guys back didn't break.

Holy shit I think he made that dead into at least 10 fully separate motions, wasn't sure that was possible.

On a side note I did deads last night and that makes my back hurt just thinking about it.

As for those squats :worried: :rainbow:

My bench ROM (uhh, Range Of Maximum attempt or something coach said) on bench vaired. When we were in season - 2". Setting records in the off season - typically getting the lift off and reracking. There were some huge lifters on my team. One guy needed four spotters to bench, like, 6 plates or something.

That made my day, you've got to LOVE that nod at the end, lol, what a douche bag......that guy will be in a gym some day or on a discussion board, saying something to the effect of "I used to deadlift 425 @ 150, but I hurt my back cause deads are dangerous".....Ditto for the moron in the squat video, except he'll be saying heavy squatting hurt his knees, and he did 500x3 at age 16.

That guy rules, lol. His videos seriously brightened my day. Can someone get him to start posting here, lol......

Glad everyone enjoyed... I didn't know there were other vids?

I can't wait to watch the others..or maybe I can?

That hurts to watch. I wonder who taught him that wicked form.
seriusly, b/c most people who know what a floor press is are pretty smart (weightlifting-wise, anyway).

It's absolutely amazing that he can still walk after that double w/ 440

one day there will be a vid with ..max's multiple tears and breaks :p
I just hope theres sound to hear the squeals, crunchs and rips
btw looking at that last (with the camra stare) I think the guy need and ego check

Why do these guys always seem to have an 'enabler' /Dr. Phil

Or worse, a posse that screams and exhorts as they go for that rack assisted zercher PR?

Wow, those are all sad. My back hurts from watching this crap. They all probably think they pretty $%^& strong, too.

Yeah, there is always that group of 4-6 guys who bench with their asses a mile high, and perform 1/100th of a squat, then proceed to scream and yell words of encouragement as if they are really lifting. While thos vids are funy as hell, they aren't shocking.
