jesus, i feel so fuckin old saying that. now i know why older people get so frustrated with music and listen to their "oldies"

i been doing that with hip hop for at least 4-5 years for the most part.

ALl of you peeps really need to stop listening to the radio and learn how to find good/real hip-hop. It's out there, but you have to be willing to put in the time and effort to seek it out, embrace it, cultivate it, and share it with those who will respect it.

if you really cared, you'd get into putting together local shows, finding venues that you can fill. we've got the same problem with the Blues scene. so many people love the blues, but won't fill a huge arena.too many folks know only the big time names. find a decent sized place and get into putting up weekly shows. let people know that they can count on good talent being their weekly. if you build it, they will come.....
