BM-while I agree that the C-word is degrading and shows a lack of respect for women and for oneself for using such language, it is very hard for males to be called out for using this word when SO many women call men the D word for the male genitalia and do so with no shame or reservation.

Society as a whole which is comprised of half if not just over half women has no problem with degrading men and emasculating them by making disparaging remarks about their genitals. Combine this with the contstant mantra of the feminist/equal rights movment and you have a hard time logically saying that women are anymore cival or refined by being offended by the use of the c-word but not equally so offended or put off by women using the use of the d-word.

Seriously this requires no thought or brooding, it is just a simple fact. So to put in another way, it is difficult for guys to think that much of using the C-word to inflame, degrade, offend, or hurt a woman when so many women have no compunction of calling both men and women the d word.
