The Best Amino Acid Supplements

liquid aminos like twinlab are pretty good.
 
F**K Beverly!!! I think all their products are over-priced. Amino Gold by Ultimate is a good product and inexpensive.
 
I case anyone is still looking at this one. I like Superior Nutraceuticals great products and competitive prices.

Here is what I take and when. This is all from Superior Nutraceuticals except for two items. Other brands don’t have the same levels in their BCAA’s. They have other good products but this is what I respond well to. Everyone is different.

20 – 30 prior to workout

ArganineEE – 3g
OKG – 3g
Citrulline Malate 2:1 – 5g
CEE – 3g
Creatine AKG(Buy discount protein, vitamins, sports supplements at NutraBio.com.) – 3g
Ascorbic Acid (NOW Foods Ebay) – 2g (always take an antioxidant with your aminos)

Right after workout (some times I start in between my last few sets)

BCAA’s – 7500mg Leucine, 3750mg L-Isoleucine & 3750mg L-Valine in 2 Tablespoons

I take ½ Tablespoon at a time for a total of four. It does not mix in water! You have to put it straight in your mouth and swallow it like a pill. Vary fine powder so try not to let it go up your nose.

Give the BCAA’s 20 – 30 min to get in and then have a protein shake.

20 – 30 prior to bed

Same as pre-workout but you might want to drop the OKG. It can make some people restless.
