It amazed me how short most of the pro bodybuilders are.

Lee i couldnt hear a word he was saying, and face was really bloated.
Trey (21 year old on the new cover of MD) was one of the biggest guys had to be over 310, he was very layed back and seemed like he was taking in this being famous thing.
Jay seemed annoyed but was in amazing shape
i embarrassed myself in front of johnny jackson, but he took it well
All the young models were great looking, they all had their fake smiles on trying to get people to try the "protein bars and shakes"
The "grip gauntlet" was easy and i couldnt believe people were having trouble with it
There was a lot of beach muscles there, and a lot of synthol users with ugly distorted muscles acting like they were king shit.
without having done a high dose cycle in a while, i felt very very small, these guys were a lot bigger than i thought

I was there I got to meet a lot more people this go around then last 2 times. I finally got to meet Monica she is just as stunning in person and total sweet heart. Phil Heath's conditioning was great he is so young to just amazing. He seems like a really nice guy talked to some guys in front of me for a couple of minutes seemed truly humble about the attention.. I walked by the muscle tech both a couple of times when Jay was there he was all smiles from what I saw but I didn't wait in line to meet him I don't have that much patience. Scott Milne is huge in person even pictures don’t do that guys justice and he is tall too. King Kamlie looked great and was also really nice. A friend of mine seen him a few weeks ago at his gym doing a photo shot said he looked great. I wonder if he is doing the Ironman. I didn’t see Levrone around but I have always been a fan he lost the size on purpose as he has been trying to break into acting etc.

I dont post on here much, but I was down there. Had a good time, Jay walked riight past me outside the expo (Totally thick..thats all I can say about him). Its just nice to be around the atmosphere of it all. To much to list but overall it was a great time. Looking forward to it again next year

Nah, I forget the guys actual name, but he is an up and coming BB, he was in the Animal Pak "Cage" giving advise on Leg training. It looked as though he would not be able to wear a regular size pair of pants because of the size of his calves (23"-24").

I didn't go but from interviews I've seen done with Ronnie and Jay, Jay seems to me to be a complaining ass brat. He just looks like a spoiled brat to me. He seems to have problems interacting with people. Kind of antisocial a bit. He also "ums" to much like, " hows things going Jay? UHM-ok ". Everyother word is uhm. Ronnie on the other hand is a people person. Always smiling trying to put on a show for his fans. He seems to be more down to earth.
On a different note, I don't see Jay as Mr.O for long. Maybe not even this year if others come in in better shape.

thats really suprising about Jay,must have had a bad day,I met him a few years back at a local supp shop and he was a ncie guy,answered all my questions, there werent many people there which may have been why,he might not like big crowds, I know id be bitchy if I had to deal with answering the same question a few thousand times a day
THAT's the biggest complaint I have. And the others who are have booths at the Expo. The whole thing has completely outgrown Columbus. Arnold is tied to Lorimar and Columbus but it's really time to let the sentimental side of this go. They have had to move most of the events to other locations around downtown, the expo is over-run and the aisles are not wide enough, the restaurant have a 2 hour wait for a table, there are not enough hotel rooms, and the service is awful in every place I've been the last 3 trips except two. There is just no way they should keep this event in Columbus. It should be in warm weather and I understand that conflicts with Spring Break, but there are other options. I think it should be in Chicago or Orlando. There is no shortage of hotel rooms with 4 hotels attached around McCormick Place and they have over a million square feet. Within 5 min of MP are 90 restaurants. Not 12. And the event in Chicago would draw from the city itself. How many people can they get from Columbus?all the whey said:
Orlando has a convention center 2nd to MP with 900,000 sf and again, no shortage of hotel rooms or restaurants in Orlando. The Arnold would draw from the entire south being in Orlando. Orlando accomodates 55 million people a year just to Disney alone. The Arnold would be blip on the chart for Orlando in terms of it's infrastructure accomodating the attendees.
I have nothing against Columbus. I love to go to the horseshoe on Football Sat and I will continue to go when I can. But this show outgrew it 2 years ago.
Ulter I tend to agree I would vote they move it to Chicago though as Orlando is a zoo at that time of year. Plus I love shopping in Chicago so that trip would kill two brds with one stone

Arrived there Friday am to make the figure pre-judging..My wife's trainer was in the show. The expo on Friday was awesome, got to meet lots of people and some UFC fighters like Tim Sylvia was standing behind me during the figure pre-judging,,Also met Stephan Bonner,Rashad Evans. Sat. was waaay to busy,,couldn't even move in there...Went to an awesome italian restaurant called Buca Friday night, which was very close to the expo.. Great food and great service.. Went to the UFC fight Sat. night and that rocked too..all in all had a great time and look fwd to next year... but everything seemed to be all over town and parking $$$ were brutal..Stayed at Comfort inn North and it was horrible,,DO NOT STAY THERE,,,it was a nightmare...Talked to Monica and Scott for a bit along with Kim Lyons which I think is super Hot.....Met alot of figure girls and they were all awesome...and very nice and down to earth..look fwd to next year...

Some fool had go and badger the shit out of Coleman on his board about it. Coleman's not going to answer the question that would violate his contract with his sponsors on an open forum but this idiot wouldn't quit. Coleman ended up getting all pissed off. I ended up losing a customer, my best one for Yohimburn, and for what?? Because some guy wanted a question answered he no business asking a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th time.
Most people would not like to have a person they don't know asking them about their steroid use in public. Let alone the top pro in the world. You made a bad decision. I don't think it's worth beating you up over. It was just a brain fart. Move on.

The event has def. out grown the city. The whole weekend we were running around looking for cabs and forget about trying to get a table to eat 2hr min wait. Thank God for the Waffle House! A cabby told us that there were only 500 cabs on for the weekend, for how many people coming in for the Expo and the UFC? Thousands! We couldn't even find a scalper for tickets to the UFC, we had to watch it at the movie theatre. They should def. consider another city like Miami, Chicago any place but Columbus, Ohio!

To be honest, I like the women in the crowd better than the fitness and bodybuilding women....at least most of them. I was talking this over with somebody from the board at the Arnold.....the women that were beautiful 5 years ago when I went are not that pretty anymore. The high androgens are really taking its toll on fitness now. It sucks because I look at girls and their jaw lines and their skin and dried hair and I don't see fitness. Don't get me wrong, I really respect what they do and I admire their beauty and dedication, I just think the look is starting to harden and not be as asthetically attractive as It once was.
As for the Arnold. I like to hang out inside the Europa booth and people watch. The expo is too crowded for my liking. I really just like hanging out with some good friends, having drinks and enjoy myself.

The Arnold was the best run show I've ever been to..and I've gone to MANY shows!! True, it seems Columbus is to small for it but I know Arnold has a soft spot for it. They count on that weekend for their economy(seriously) I would love to see it in Orlando!! I know quite a few pros anyway but I did make some great new connections (industry) My figure athlete did well and got a 2yr contract with Redline..
Cutler is one of the coolest guys in the sport. I hung out with him for a long time and he loves his fans. His booth had about 200 people waiting to get pics and he saw me and told security to let me in the booth to hang out with him & Kerry..He's taking over the NPC New Englands and it will be The Jay Cutler Classic in May07...and he has answered a few "science" questions when nobody was around!! LOL Do you really think he's going to say "yeah, I take 3grams of test a week with 20 D-bols,etc?? c'mon!!! He can't say anything like that!!
Monica Brant and her husband Scott are also very down to Earth and chill. I wore my Red Sox gear and they flipped out!! We took tons of pics and hopefully when Scott visits home I can take them to a Sox game....

Where did your figure girl land and what class? yeah I was a bit ill with a stomach bug...try judging 235 good athletes in 3.5 hours breaking a sweat every 15 min. I have always thought Jay was a "real" person and have said so. He ate next to us at a Jr Natls...cannot remember what year but they forgot the chicken in his Pasta and he flipped...the restuarant at the Hyatt in Chicago sucks ass...we left without our food after like 2 hours..but anyway...tonyroma is retarded if he cannot see why it was fucked up asking that.

My girl was in figure d and her name was Jill..she didn't go top 5 so I'm not sure of her exact placing..I was a little upset that the figure girls were more hard & muscular than the fitness girls!! Isn't that why they made the figure class?? No worries..she signed with Redline and has 2 photo shoots so it was good exposure!!Quadsweep said:
