'cause when you don't have it, you can't think about anything else.

Right now it's 87.5F in my office, not talking about outside, this is INSIDE, I have a thermometer over my desk

No A/C, no fan, no nuthin...

oh yeah, did I mention I'm wearing a suit/tie today? (like basically everyday???).

Fuck 3rd World Countries with no A/C

my thermo is set at 65 in my office. I always have some kind of jacket/coat on (stylish of course ;) ) I can't stand to be hot. Though sometimes my boss freezes me out of the office.

agreed!

I'm typing this from Vienna, and it is 36 degrees - in the fucking office...

looking back over the 18 month long renovation i've done on the money pit here in one of the few unflooded historical neighborhoods in what's left of new orleans; i can truthfully say i do not begrude ONE FRIGGIN" PENNY that i spent on a brand new, high efficiency central air conditioning and heating system.

the combination of heat and humidity in this place is a killer! 82 temp and humidity at 2 am is not unheard of in the summer. and "summer" here can last from easter until thanksgiving.

i dunno how peeps lived here before the advent of a/c...they musta drank a LOT of mint julips and passed out early.

I know right? If you've never been to the Gulf Coast in the summer then you don't know hot and humid. When I woke up at 7:30 this morning it was 80 deg. and 50% humidity already. And that's below average, since it's been cool these past few days.
