I didnt say it wasnt good.. I did lose about 10lbs but only 4pound of fat. But those other 6pounds could just be water weight loass or muscle glycogen.
 
Are My #'s ok?

I'm 5'6" and weigh around 130. I took the given isocaloric formula and came up with @453 calories to drop weight with the numbers 113g protein /113 carbs /48g fat. Does this sound correct? I know im small and want to stay around the same size (just grow stronger) and most importantly stay healthy. I can atleast do pull-ups and squat my own weight. I've got older brothers to fend off . . .

Depends on how active you are and how quickly you want to lose fat, if at all. You could go 100-200 more total calories per day and probably still lose weight, assuming your metabolism isn't too slow. This will help you to continue to lose fat for a longer period of time.

Also, remember that your brain requires about the same amount of power as a bigger person's brain. So, a higher percentage of your calories are being consumed by your brain, and you should make sure you don't go below 1200 until you are on your last week to getting super ripped or something.

Remember to count ALL calorie sources, but don't get too pedantic with meal timing.
 
Just remember to keep lowering calories as you lose weight...it is the only way to keep losing....This diet takes it slow, but in 2 months 1lbs of fat is defintaly possible...
 
Ok thanks, thats really helpful to know about the 1200 calories and brain functioning. I had a clinically slow metabolism before, my doctor just gave me cytomel 3 weeks ago for it. So will it still drop if i dont make my calores perfect? I lift 3-4 times a week for an hour, do 1- 1 & 1/2 hr cardio 6 x and ballet 3 hrs week. I'd still like to lose fat. I'm not expecting over night results, i'd rathr be healthy where i can maintain. So what if i kept around 450 calories from each sorce and added the extra 100-200 cal , so 1360- 1500 a day? Wow though 450 calories from fat seems like an awful lot. ( i know mono-unsaturated right?)

WOW, NJstacked...do you know how to diet or WHAT??!! LOL!

this phenomenon is called metabolic stasis, which means, in layman's terms....ahhhh i quit, figure it out for yourself, genius

basically, your diet STILL sucks, since you need to down-regulate your total caloric intake. on the last few diets i have done, i found that i need to INCREASE the amount of food eaten. show me how you're sparing muscle while reducing calories from week to week!

take a math class. divide total cals by a third. 1/3=.333 not 33.3

then divide that number by 4 for pro/carbs and 9 for fat. that will give you the break down in grams

Pharmanimal... did you post a diet on this thread?

I just decided to get off my high carb diet and start eating a blanced healthy diet. Summer is here and it sucks always trying to keep fat low 25g... its almost impossible to get that low!

I already feel better!!!!

Why did I ever leave...

The onlything I would change on this diet is to keep saturated fats low 10% while keeping the other fats higher. Also stay with whole grains...
