I'm on my first test cypionate cycle, 500mg per week, for 10 weeks. I bought a vial of cypionate, and a vial of enanthate, but they are almost identical in half life. I'm a 43 year-old chemist, been training for 20 years.
I'm midway through, just finished the 10ml cyp vial and swapped to enanthate.
The first injection aches for days, then the second in the same site aches a little bit, then after that, - nothing. Inject slow into your glute, taking 30 seconds or more to press the plunger, and you will minimize the ache the next day. You have two bum cheeks, so each cheek only has to handle one jab per week of 1ml.
After 5 weeks I have a little water retention, but not enough to bother with anything to combat it - although I've just added proviron to my cycle.
One thing to watch out for is zinc deficiency. You need zinc to rebuild muscle cells, and it's hard to get enough in food when you are training hard. It's the most common mineral deficiency amongst athletes, and the population at large - but particularly in men
All that test makes you horny, so you will be cumming a lot, and losing even more zinc. I felt achey and burned out last week, every muscle hurt, even ones I hadn't trained, and particularly my lower legs. I couldn't sleep,so I got up, took 3 ZMA capsules on a hunch, and I was absolutely fine within the hour. I guess I had chronic zinc deficiency.
Anyone reading this - high testosterone = hard training + more sex = zinc deficiency. If you hit an unexplained wall on test, try ZMA. It will be obvious straight away if you had a zinc or magnesium deficiency.
