Test Prop Injection Pain...Suggestions?

Ok, started the following cycle last Friday:

500mg Test Prop 1-8. 125mg EOD.

First injection was in the right glute and hurt. I thought I may have done something wrong at first. Second injection was in the left thigh, now i'm limping.

I have heated this up and still am having pain. It will last for about 3 days. The gear is good and there is no swelling or infections whatsoever. I ususally take about 30 sec. to inject the entire amount.

Any suggestions as how to rid myself of the pain, or am I just screwed for 8 weeks?

You can warm the area with a heating pad both before and after injection. MAssage the area for a while. and it helps to work out the body part you inject on the same day. For me its much easier to take the pain in glutes. Quads always kill me. Prop is going to hurt, can't avoid that. But these measures might help lessen the pain
 
Did you do your front quad? That will kill with prop. Try your side quad if you haven't already. Even when it is sore there you won't limp because that's not the muscle that you flex to lift your leg to walk.
 
Also you should try delts. I've never shot them but I hear others report less pain there. Plus you need to rotate a lot of sites because you are shooting EOD.

I think I'm going to keep it with the glutes for now. I just can't walk worth a damn right now. I'll try your idea with the heating pad and massage though.

I have already pre loaded everything so baking it is not an option right now. I do use the "hair dryer" method and heat the oil up while in the syringe.

A good lesson learned for me...DON'T GO NEAR THE QUADS...for now.

Prop = pain...there's no way around that...you can bake it, warm the site, train the area you shoot in etc etc but it is going to hurt for the first 2 or 3 weeks...after those first 2 or 3 weeks, your body will be used to the prop and there shouldn't be any more pain after the injections...it sucks in the beginning but in the long run you will be very happy if you're training and diet are right!!!
 
Ya by about week 4 it was nothing. A little sore but not anything like the first week or 2. Just be a man and deal with it lol.

...I have nerer run prop before, that's why I asked. Just want to double check that I am not doing something wrong.

I was glad to hear that the pain goes away after the first 2-3 weeks. That is good to know. :mix:

I wasn't talking shit, might of come off like that in text. I had the same experience when I started my prop cycle. I had shot deca before with no pain and wasn't expecting it. Good luck with your cycle bro.

I never thought you were talking smack. I'm just hoping that I have the same experience you did. No worries :)

Just make sure to rotate a lot. When I was shooting EOD I rotated between my 2 glutes and my two quads (side quad only) going in a circle. If you don't like quads you can rotate delts in instead.
 
Dilute with sterile oil (grapeseed or cottonseed) 1:1 and add 15% by volume of Benzyl Benzoate.

The short ester requires more Benzyl Alcohol for solubility, this then evaporates in the body, precipitating crystals into the muscle resulting in a hard, red mass in the muscle.

Benzyl Benzoate will maintain solubility once the BA has evaporated and the dilution with sterile oil will prevent the immediate pain associated with high concentrations of BA.
