test levels normal?

One of my "stupid" friends who took steroids with me when we were younger. Just got his levels checked. His is : bioavailable test 12.2 nm but I'm not sure how to convert to ng/dl. I'm still a little confused as to the diffrence between bioavailable and total and free test. If someone can clear that up for me and convert the numbers to ng/dl I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

12.2 nm is approx. 350 ng/dl. Total test is the total amount of test, bound or unbound, in a given amt. of blood. Free test is only that test which is unbound and therefore free to bind to the androgen receptor and impart its message.
