Test-E lean mass diet

hackneyj

New member
I am going to run a cycle of test e only and nolvadex for pct. My goals are to get my core muscles really lean while hopefully adding a little mass. I'm not sure of exactly what type of diet to have because i want to burn fat but also add muscle if i can, so if anybody had any suggestions as to how many calories, protein, carbs, fat, etc., that i should have a day would be very helpful.

Welcome to EF.

In order to get the best advice you should post up the following info about yourself:
Age:
Weight:
Height:
Body fat %:
Training history:
Cycle history:
Meds/supplements being taken:
Diet:

I know it may seem like an autobiography, but by providing this info you ensure that people reading have the info necessary in order to help you.

Test E alone can be great, but you must look out for sides. You may need ancillaries such as Arimidex or Aromasin in order to prevent estrogen from going too high while on cycle. HCG is another important thing to include for testicular health.

My bad fellas. Stand 6'2" weigh 207, 22 yrs old, and this will be my first cycle ever. I've lifted for over 5 years but 2-3 years hard and solid. Not sure of my body fat but im really lean everywhere but my core, not anywhere near fat either just a little soft in that area. I need some sort of diet plan or guidelines toward my intake of food. Thanks.

Oh and im going to run somewhere between 300-350 of test a week for as long as it will go. Just giving it a trial run but not taking it lightly by no means.

eat lean meats, leafy greens, fruits and veggies. Avoid starches, rice, potatoes and gains, sugars and processed foods. Avoid long slow cardio and do HIIT style instead. If your BF is greater than 15% you can probably eat maintenance cals and gain mass and lose fat at the same time. If you leaner than that add a couple hundred cals over maint to gain more mass while sacrificing fat loss.

Its pretty simple really but you have to know exactly what your body needs calorie wise nased on your exercise routines and most people dont do HIIT style cardio so if thats new to you you will need to incorporate that into your routine for a few weeks and track everything you put in your mouth and watch body comp closely to see where you need to be calorie wise.

No brown rice? Is that because he's trying to lean out and not bulk up? What do you use as a source of carbs? Must eat a ton of oatmeal

all your fruits and veggies have carbs, fruits a lot of carbs but also generally more fiber than rice and a lot lower GI, even "sweet" fruits.

High clycemic index food are generally rice and grains, they cause an unneeded spike in blood glucose and insulin response in the body.

Does really matter if your cutting or bulking, no real reason for high GI foods. If you need more cals just eat good fats, they are much more engery dense than carbs anyway and the kind of work most BBers do doesnt require super high carbs anyway.

One thing people always complain about when "dieting" is being hungry and the main reason is they use poor carb choices that are calorie dense. ditch the rise, grains, potatoes and eat greens and you will find you actually have a hard time eating that much food.
