Test and Libido....WTF!!

I'm in my 3rd week of test cyp at 500mg wk and my libido is going
to hell.And when I did get going I went for more than an hour and
couldnt get off.This is my first cycle.Is this supposed to happen on test?

This is starting to really suck.I dont think my lady liked it to much when
I couldnt shoot. :confused:
 
If you can afford yeah go for it, as it helps increase your free test levels. Cease usage once you start PCT.

Well I cant really afford not to if this will work for me.It's that or try
to explain to my woman whats going on,and I dont want to go there.

Is this something that can happen on that low dose of test and so
soon into my cycle?I mean I've heard libido problems possible on very
high doses of test,but I figured on 500mg I'd be walking around hard
as a wedding prick.
 
500mg/week isn't exactly a "low" dose. I'm on 100mg/week for HRT. That's a low dose. I'm about to go on some Proviron (25mg/day) myself due to erratic libido/performance. :mad:

Are you stacking the Test with anything else? Any bloodwork?

Provirion will not help as it will only free up more test.
divide your injs up 250 mon-250 thurs and you'll be back in the game in no time!

Everyone responds differently so maybe you'r one of the unfortunate ones. Could also be with the type of gear...you running Human grade?
 
I'm only doing 100mg cyp/week with 300mg EQ and it's been boner city. I feel like i'm in college again.....now if I just had a sex partner besides myself. LOL

I'm using the test by itself.I'm also on TRT at 150mg wk.So I get regular
bloodwork.
I was going to ask my HRT doc about a script for some proviron but I
dont want to have him thinking somethings up(bad pun).after going
so long on TRT with no problems.

Thats what I'm doing right now.So you dont think proviron will help?
I was'nt having any problems at all on my 150mg TRT dose.
 
You won't be able to get a script for Proviron in the US since it is not available through pharmacies here (which sucks :mad: ). Have you done any bloodwork since being at 500mg/week?

At 100mg/week, my total Test levels are in the 600's by midweek. I was using 400mg every 3 weeks and I usually felt like shit during that first week. No sex drive, depressed, etc. I think a lot of T was converting to E.

I'm running upjohn from a new HRT clinic I just started with,so I hope its
good.
 
In some people who are susceptible to high estrogen conversion, prolactin levels can rise which could possibly be affecting you and your libido. The addition of dostinex 0.5mge4d would do the trick. Or you could be deperessed?

Thats not good.I'm only 3wks in so no bloodwork.

On my reg.150mg wk dose I was close to 800's by the end of the week
and felling great.

testosterone is 90% hype 10% effective

Happens to me too bro, too much test or too little test can destroy libido. My libido is usually best with low doses of test injected, or totally natural and off all meds

Well no depression here.Maybe a little anxiety.I havent been able to get
more that 6hrs sleep past couple of nights.I need to determine if this is a
physical reaction to the test or psycalogical.

I went thru the same thing as you, provirion only made it worst. only after dividing the dosage i was able to get back running in a few days,then you can add provirion.

I have been using a divided dose,250 on sat 250 on tues.Did the proviron help after you divided the dose?

Yes it gave a boost in libido and helped harden me up!

shit i wonder why my and other peoples libido CRASHES on test. it has the opposite effects for me. it basicly turns me into a female. maybe my natty test is high and doesnt need the competition of foriegn compounds? ive ran test alone, with anabolics, with anti-e's and still test is unefective for me
 
ive used icn galenikas as well as vet grade testosterones and i get the same effects everytime. my libido well being and motivation goes to complete shit. when im not on test i go to gym 5-6 times a week, when im on test ill be lucky if i make 2 trips to gym


test just doesnt work for me as claimed. my life deterorates on it.

dont wanna scare you just givin ya a heads up. i was also lured to test by all the posts but i found out the hard way it isnt what its hyped up to be

I was concidering this for my next cycle later this year.Expensive,but
from what I've read maybe worth it.

Have you cycled with primo?And what were your results?Do you get
any of these libido issues with it?

when you were doing 400/wk did you have your estrogen levels checked regularly?
You're probably right about having a high propensity for aromatic conversion. You could try aromasin next time if you're contemplating doing test again ie. 25mgs eod. I don't think it mitigates libido in most users.

I think it's a very effective AAS for most users.It is very popular with newbies and is used as a base in a majority of cycles.
Hoever I do agree with you in the sense that it delivers mostly temporary gains in mass and strength.If one is searching for a better drug in terms of keepable gains during post cycle,they should consider other AAS such as primo,var, and EQ.

I myself am prone to anxiety and depression and would not reccomend test to anyone who is sensitive in this regard.
Some people find that once estrogen conversion is controlled using an anti-e like aromasin or arimidex that depression,anxiety and plunging libido are rectified,but DHT will most likely increase and further stimulation of the cns will continue generating similar(bad) symtoms.
If one uses finasteride you can control anxiety from hyperstimulation but libido will remain in the shitter.
It is difficult,if not impossible to mimic endocrine homeostatis with ancillaries IMO.

There was some interesting posting@another site involving some smart dudes sharing their input on how LH is a much more determining factor on libido and errection mechanisms then exogenous test could ever be.When free test becomes higher then endogenous secretion then LH starts to decline and libido problems arise despite high free test levels.
I've heard many times form people on HRT that libido is still not where it should be...despite having all hormones in the normal range.
All except LH and FSH.

B32: I am still on Test at 100mg/week for HRT. My doc had me on 400mg every 3 weeks for about 8 months. Man, what a freakin' rollercoaster that was. I never got my Estrogen levels checked (didn't know about it then), but I did get my Test levels checked during that time. They were either really high (first week after the shot) or really low (third week after the shot). My mood and energy levels were all over the place.

I am A LOT more stable at 100mg/week, but my sex drive/performance is still sporadic. I'm gonna start 25mg of Proviron per day as soon as I get my hands on it (in a few weeks, I hope).

Good post B23 :)

I think elevated estradiol (E2) plays a big part in libido problems.

Here's two reference ranges for estradiol (what is regarded as normal levels):

Between 3-70 picogram/ml
Between 10-50 picogram/ml

My doc states that for optimal sexual health, estradiol should be in the range of 10-30 picogram/mL for a man of any age.

If possible get your E2 levels checked and if it's significantly elevated above the healthy range specified above consider Aromasin or Arimidex. Splitting up your dose is also a good idea to limit aromatization.

I was questioning this myself.I started a thread on this test on the
counterfeit board a couple weeks ago.Its from an online HRT clinic.

Could I actually be crashing?Could this cause libido problems?I have
been on TRT for the past year and I stopped taking the test I was
using when I started this cycle.I know what I was using before was
legit.I was taking it @150mg wk.
