Tennis Elbow....

pshaw...got a dose of tennis elbow...

I think either from doing "arnold presses" or using the smith machine for heavy military presses...

Anyway...I gotta take it easy for several weeks.

PT dude tells me ok to lift...just don't GRIP anything (I guess those are the muscles in question)...WTF.

Time to work on my squats I guess.

That sucks. Squats could make it worse. Keep your wrists straight and in line with your elbows when squatting.

My left elbow has a slight tinge and my left wrist is killing me. I am wearing wrist wraps on everything.
 
I suffered from tennis elbow when i was younger it sucked , then i got boxers elbow ,the both sides of the joint shattered away and had to be trimmed back and a new joint made , nice scare :)

I have had "tennis elbow" several times throughout my life and if I have learned anything it there is nothing you can do about it. For me it seems to just go away all of a sudden. I have tried rest, anti-inflammatories, etc..nothing help as it seems to heal when it wants and not a second before. I just worked through the pain.
 
Thanks men...

Did shoulders today....had to NOT do upright rows...just too painful...all else (pressing) seemed ok...guess I'll find out tommorrow....

(did shrugs on standing calf machine...that was cool...)

Doubt I can do any dl's, or pulls....
 
This is why I switched to a suicide grip on all pressing movements except db's obviously.
