Tendonitis coming.....

anthrax

I suffer from recurrent shoulders tendonitis (every couple of weeks it "reappears" and last for a few weeks then "disappear")

NSAIDs like Ketoprofen don't help anymore :(

I can feel that I'll have one soon
When doing flat bench press and pull-ups I have a "strange" feeling in one of my lateral deltoid :worried:

What can I do to avoid this tendonitis (apart from rest) ?

The only thing that helped me with my elbow was ice after every workout, even if it's not bothering you.

Good luck.

I have the same problem with my elbow/tri-cept. It is really hindering my gains, cant ever seem to shake it. I am going to try the icing method, it always seems like docs favorite medicine is ice!!

Stay focused

As a "veteran" of tendonitis injuries (golfer's elbow) I can tell you from my own personal experience that the kind of treatment that you should use depends on how long you have had the injury. If it is fairly recent, you ice to help with the injury. If the injury is fairly "old" then you definatly want to go with heat treatment!!!!!!!! An electric blanket always helps my elbow feel better. If you have any kind of dip machine at your gym, you may want to try that instead of bench press, I also have a shoulder injury, and notice that the position of the dip machine doesn't bother my shoulder at all, while bench press hurts like hell, good luck, O.M.G.
