Tell my partner I juice or not?

Here's my situation:
I recently (within last 6 months) have gotten a new workout partner. He's been a friend for a real long time and joined my gym a recently. He's fairly new to weight lifting, but we are almost equal in strength due to his huge genetics.

My problem is should I tell him I am about to start a cycle? He doesn't know I do or ever have juiced. I don't want anyone to know. Only two people know now and I'd trust my life with them. I believe I can trust him not to tell, but I've been wrong in that area before. Plus since he's fairly new to weight lifting I'm afraid he will want to just automatically jump into a cycle as many newbies do before really reaching their peak. At the same time I don't want him to risk hurting himself trying to keep up with me.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Alien, I wouldn't tell him if I were you. Wait until he gets more into the lifting and is a bit more hardcore. Then he'll understand and keep your secret. For now, keep it to yourself.

Keep to yourself but chances are he will figure it out unless he is a retard. I never wanted anyone to figure out I juiced but when I gained 30lbs of muscle in 12 weeks it was sorta hard to tell people, oh it was just my lucky 3 months of growth :D . But deny deny deny to the end like I did. Now I couldnt give two shits anymore. But at first I did and everyone knew due to the size I got. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. That's what I was wanting to hear.:)

What about my strength increase? Since we are right now equal in strength, he will definately notice me getting stronger. I was thinking of gradually going up in weight when we work out together, then whenever he can't make it to the gym do my heavy stuff then.
Whataya think?

I might can pull this off because this cycle is going to be a cutting cycle. I'm bulked right now and he knows I'm going to get cut here soon, so I will actually drop some mass/weight. The strength increase is my main concern. That's going to be hard to hide.

No need to 'gradually go up in weight'. Perform the routines to the best of your ability. Otherwise, you are just wasting your money for the cycle. I don't see why both of you would not be able to work out; you would just use different weights. I think you should ALWAYS go heavy (using proper form of course), and having your partner there is an asset that you should use.

Dont slow down yourself because of him bro.
Just do the best you can and look out for yourself.
Tell him you're taking a shitload of creatine and glutamine or whatever.

thank god for me my partner is the one who gets the shit. we been friends for a while and its great working out with a guy who is determined as me and will do whatever it takes.

Here's what I'm going to do:
I'll tell him I'm starting a new routine - Continuously talk about the new routine, however the new routine will consist of the basics for a newbie. (proper diet, rest, supplements, timing, etc.). Since he follows my lead, he will take up that attitude and will think my strength gain is from that. This way he will be doing all the basics that he needs to be doing as a beginner.

That way he won't get discouraged and quit and/or injure himself trying to lift too much. Plus he will increase in size and strength himself since he just started lifting and has guidence.

Everybody wins!:elephant:

Very well put. Due to he is new to the sport that has a good chance of flying. And very good point about him being a beginner and doing everything right so he doesnt injure himself trying to go too huge. Hope everything goes the way you want it to go bro and hit us back

Always good advice to be very careful about giving imformation to other people that could ultimately come back to bite you in the ass. Once something is said it can never be "unsaid"

Tell him that you are totally jacked on Hydroxycut until he has EARNED your complete trust,.... then wait a year and tell him.

TAKE ALL THE SHIT YOU CAN AND BLOW HIM OUT OF THE WATER IN STRENGTH. LUCKY GUY WITH GENETICS YOU GOT TO DO WHAT YOU GOT TO DO

:FRlol: lol
That's very true. Some people have it made geneticly. He's 6'-3", 245 lbs. He is think and wide but needs to cut up just a tad and lose his gut. Right now I can just barely outlift him,but like I said he's new and will prob. get strong fast. Thank goodness for my secret supplements :D

No matter if he passes me up strength wise, I'll always be better looking than him:p

I had a similar situation like that too. But I was on the other side of it. I started working with this guy and he was making great gains and weight was skyrocketing. I used to ask him damn bro how do u do it then he would give me the "carb" excuse...."Oh i eat everything in sight" yeah including some D-bol ha ha. Well he finally told me and now I am a meat head. I would tell him until he bothers u about it. Good luck

once he's a little more hardcore i wouldn't tell him for all we know after a few weeeks he may find something else more interesting and quit then you got another ordinary run of the mill guy blabbling about steroids- get him some Norabol,1-AD and protein and hope he sticks with it there's still plenty of time if he's serious to start him a summer cycle.heh heh!

RADAR

dont tell anyone you juice, come across as the most anti-steroid guy around. People cannot be trusted.

I personally would wait to say anything to him...Some people cant keep quiet and I dont think you want to take a chance on the whole world knowing. Nothing against your guy but I know how people can be.....Also...dont slow yourself worrying about him..take your shit eat right lift heavy and get ripped....If anything he will become more motivated..
Hope this helps

I wouldn't tell him i would make him wonder besides he just started training you never know he might quit in a few months and the cat will be out of the bag then imo a wize man stays quite.

Steroids are very illegal Federal drugs. Trust no one that has not been tried and true over many years. The last thing you need him is blabbing his chops at the gym about you on gear since you are smoking him on everything.

If he is your best friend for 10 years and keeps a secret very good than tell him. Sharing secrets is what good friends do. Otherwise, don't tell anyone. It can easily bite you. Train like a freak and tell him you are taking creatine, glutamine, amino acids, high protein and 3 different andros if he asks.

My friend who got me into this racket told me what someone else said previously, "Deny, deny, deny."
