I see both sides. As a US Marine tattoos were obviously fine. I was never judged on them ever and most guys had some. None of my tattooes ever effected my ability to hunt and kill people
I run a night club now and things are different. Showing ink on a busy Friday or Saturday night is fine. But when I'm in meetings with the owners, health inspector, fire marshal, police, or VIP clients, I cover them up.
I'm just as good at my job with or with out tattoos. But unfortunately, people judge people by there looks. How well I do my job, and what kind of person I am on the inside, is not changed by a tattoo.
