Im looking at between the blades just below the neck bone

If you do it... at least take into consideration of removing your mirrored ceiling in the bedroom.

If you get it done on your back, be ready for the unbearable pain that you will feel.. Have a tat pretty much on my whole back and after 3 hrs told the guy to quit...Worst pain ever that i endured. Still have another 2-3 hrs to finish it and its been 2 summers since i got it done...
On the arms didn't even hurt, but the back DAMN, worst ever since its hitting the spine 1/2 the time.

But I think you have a better idea of having it smaller. (Not too small, but smaller). Putting it very large might not be the best idea.seriously, corn.......................that design would look awesome below the neck/b/t the shoulder blades. just make sure it's big enough.
i have a celtic design in the same location.......take some pain pills before the artist drills on you!! this locastion was the most painfull tattoo i have had done to date.

I don't get the whole tattoo thing so much. Seems like you'd get tired of it and then where will you be. I remember when Tony Danza (rock on) was on the tonight show talking about how he got this huge "Keep On Truckin'" tattoo in the 70s with the guy with the big foot and everyone thought it was totally cool at the time. Well now he knows it's lame of course, or he knew it a few years later and had to be all laser blasted to get it off and it hurt like hell. Cher too. Had to have her whole ass sandblasted.

True, the fine detail of that one would be lost on a small size tattoo.
Back tattoo's of a certain kind were once used by convicts to reduce the chances/attractiveness to booty bandits, who like to do it doggie style. (They would see something they thought was demonic and choose another dude as there bitch)

The symbol has meaning?? LMAO! Young kids choose "meaningful" tattoos as well duh.
All I'm saying is that you see PLENTY of kids walking around with inkings nowadays, which imo has decreased the novelty factor.
I was going to get a tattoo a while back but when I see these youngsters walking around with lower and upper back tats (that was the latest "fad") I quickly changed my mind. Definitely played out.

I think that if seeing people younger than you with tattoos is an intimidating factor and decreases the importance of it, then by all means, you should not get one. However, not everyone is bothered by the fact that other people have tattoos. Getting one is not something that you do to be a trend setter.
Just get the tat where you can hide it when you want to. Would never get one on my forearm. New neighbors moved in, talked about where we worked, get to know each other bs... 4th July go to the pool to get some sun. They are surprised and say we didn't know you have tats... Rather have them get to know me before they see my tats.... Sometimes people see you with tats and think you are up to no good..

Tattoos are excellent because nobody else has them - because of this, nobody will ever see your tattoo and associate you with someone else that they know that has a tattoo.
Also, another excellent part of getting deisgns off the net that mean various things is that the net is always correct about everything. Nobody could ever accidentally put up an image of "fantastic gay lover" and name it "strong ass mofo".
Then another good thing about them is they don't last long. If you don't like it, doesn't matter - those things are gone in a matter of hours anyway.
I think Corn should get that symbol down at the base of his back, just above the asscrack - about the same width as that.
A lot of porn stars do that and it looks classy - don't worry that they are chicks.
I say go for it.

I heard about some crazy kid in highschool that had a tatoo of a womans leg on his arm all the way to his arm pit and another tatoo of a womans leg going from his armpit to his waist. I assume he probably died of a drug overdose, so I figure I can get it now and be original.
