Try any of the really good indoor lotions with bronzers in them if you want a deep tan. I MUST use these or I have the same problem.

One of these sellers is from Portland OR and has over 40K+ feedback. Forgot his name but that's who I buy from.

So, Designer Skin Lotions with Bronzers are my favorite!

Olay makes a 15spf tanning lotion especially for the face.

In regards to the redness; you aren't reapplying your sunscreen enough during this period, and, if I were you, I'd opt for a sunscreen (sans tanning elements) around 40spf. You could use the tanning/moisterizer product at night. I used to use the Lubriderm Moisterizer (15spf) and was STILL becoming red after a short exposure, I then switched to Neostrata's sunscreen at 40 spf (much lighter feeling and seems to last longer).

If you're burning your face 24 hours a week, you will gradually see cumulative damage.

Yeah...do what BB says! Don't listen to me. I'm gonna end up looking like Goldie Hawn when I'm 62!

BB, I should do that too. I'm naturally fair but very vain and like a tan. It's my last vice besides coffee.

 Yeah, you can still get a tan with the face and body lotion. But definitely wear a high sunscreen during the day. Oh, and switch to green tea :chomp: :D

F.Y.I.- Be sure to exfoliate your skin BEFORE you use any self-tanners or bronzers. If your skin has dry spots, the tanning product will look HORRIBLE in/on those areas.
