Tanning beds

Never been to a tanning salon...what do they charge usually? And how long do you have to stay in one to get a decent tan? Also, do you have to go more than once to get a full tan?

Aruond here, it's like $5-$6 a visit. Normal beds are 20 minutes. Don't say the whole time the first time if you are fair skinned or burn easily. Slowly build up your staying time as your visits progress. And yes, you'll need to go more than once.

depends where you go. at proper tanning places you can pay $15 a trip, while at some beuty salons that use tanning beds as a loss leader (a drawcard, basically) you can pay $5

i got sick of it and bought one for 300

Price and time needed varies. Where I live and used to work...it was around $4 a single visit (only an idiot buys singles though instead of a package) and if you went 20 in a 20...you would peel. My X was going 30 in a 20 where she lived (no idea WHY they allowed her to do this) and when she went 20/20 here she was burned for a week...and peeled.

I suggest finding a solid place to tan. Don't look for the best looking beds as the actual beds make little to no difference in the quality of tan you will get. Look for a place with 32-36 lamp beds with good lamps in them. The lamp makes the bed...not the bed.

Ohh...and there is NO such thing as a Wolff Bed...lol (just in case anyone wanted to ask...lol).

I used to sell, set-up, assemble beds.

It's taken me over a month to work up to 20 minutes. I can do it now though without burning. Just start off light.

dont do tanning beds....unless u have too

most plaCES have monthly specials....like 40$ for unlimited tanning ....

I just started going, payed $50 for unlimited trips for a month. I am/was very pale under my shirt and started out with 7 mins. each time, I am now up to 10 mins.

I don't want to get a competition-like tan, but something to add a decent brown tint to my skin, as it has been utterly disgusting here in NY in terms of weather. As soon as the weather is nice, I would like to be able to at least wear a beater without looking as white as a powder puff.
