Came into the garage today and smelt the sweet smell of mildew, chalk, sweat, dog poop (yes someone stepped in shit last night and tracked it in)...i knew today was going to be a good one

little to no rest times on everything

I started with some close-medium stance regular bar gms
as usual...going so low i am almost pleasuring myself. I'd like to say i set a form pr today as well...the 225 and the 255 looked pretty good to me. 275 looked a little sloppy

worked up to:

Keg carry with the sled attached to me....this was REALLY fun, will be doing it again

Full keg, 300lb sled x 2 sets

Walking lunges with the thick bar 2 sets of 75 feet


Jump rope because i felt so good- 100 skips

holy crap....I gotta try that keg sled carry....looks painful and fun

T3c, if its not too much trouble I would like for you to list the exercises that you use in your strength training routine.
 
suston- i hope you are ready for next sunday...i got some ideas brewing already

ironlion - glad i can give YOU an idea for once, i'm gonna be implementing a bunch of yours starting monday. will work on the arch. were you referring to the powerstairs ? or just everything in general?

swain- i'm not actually doing the conventional westside split right now...i still have an ME lower day...but i've changed alot of things. I keep it simple though: squats, good mornings, pull throughs, barbell rows, close grip bench, overhead press variations, GHR, reverse hyper, static ab work ( i feel has a better carryover to strongman), high board presses...thats about it
 
swain- totally forgot about those... I will be incline benching in the next 3 weeks. I did dips for the last 4 weeks, i will rotate them in again soon. I do bicep work but not alot...hammer curls, reverse curls...really stuff to hit my forearms.

LOL its been a ritual to do curls before my contests

I did it before clintfest and before poughkeepsie...and i'll do it agin too
