I've been on a fairly high protein/fat low carb diet for about two months now. Over the weekend I went to a much higher carb diet for a few days. Figured the high carbs wouldn't hurt what with all the shoveling I had to do for the "blizzard."
Today I went back to fat/protein very low carbs. I cannot believe how amazingly exhausted I feel. I seem to remember this happening in the past when I have made this transition before. Does anyone else experience something similar? How long does this feeling last (I can't remember)?
It's just hard to believe my metabolisim got so quickly dependent on carbs in just three days.
