Switched gyms yesterday.

Got tired of the crappy equipment at the Y. My finace and i were going to check out a few of the other gyms and ended up signing at Anytime Fitenss.

A few bucks more a month and it gives us 24 hr access, unlimited tanning, and all the equipment is Hammer Strength or Precor. Just opened 3 weeks ago.

Downsides- No hack squat and Dbs only go up to 100 lbs. The owners did say if there was anything missing, let them know and they'd get it. I told her dumbells before I noticed the lack of a hack. We'll see.

Anyway, I'm freaking stoked! had my first workout there yesterday and it was awesome. NOT ONE SINGLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WITH AN "OUT OF ORDER" SIGN ON IT!! Can't wait to hit it again tomorrow!


Anyone else been there? Thoughts? Experience?

I just joined a new gym too and literally have a new lease on life over it. I love it. Amazing what a new gym can do for you! Now If I can just not make too many "friends" I'll do fine. It seems that I always get stuck talking to people at the wrong times.

Anyway, the owner of your gym sounds very accomodating! Cool!

I switched gyms after close to being at the same one for 9 yrs.
I am NOT HAPPY with the new one. Small, bad equipment and all the trainers are fat.........what is that? I only joined b/c I got a good deal through my work.
Will switch back to my old gym soon......worth the money
