I know there is a forum for swimming under the endurance section, but, 20 people view that thing at a time on average so im posting here.
My question is for the swimmers here: I swim all the time, and I can swim free style vigorously for a long time (30 + mins).
Now, I weight lift a lot too, and what I like about swimming is the flexibility i get, endurance, and stretching/toning of the shoulders, tri's, and lats. Combining swimming with dead lifts, military presses, benching, rows, pull ups etc. etc. etc. has given me good curves, low body fat, and a thick back.
Now, what other forms of swimming really work the back more than others? I want my lats to burn. I haven't done any other forms except freestyle as I surf and found this to be closest movement to paddling on a surfboard.
THANKS IN ADVANCE AS ALWAYS
