SwiftBoat Vet Exposed! LMAO!

Records show that Bob Perry, a Houston homebuilder who is helping to finance the anti-Kerry commercials, was well-enough known to Bush to earn an invitation to visit the then-Texas governor.

"I hope all goes well with you," Bush said in an April 15, 1997, letter. "Should you ever come to Austin, please come by and say hello." Bush wrote in response to a letter asking him to veto legislation that would have placed new restrictions on title companies if it made it out of the Legislature.

Thats what these guys can get out of it. Money and power. Trickle down style.

SBVfT was even being pushed at the Bush/Cheney campaign HQ in Florida! Where Bushs brother, Jeb, is the Govenor and a battle state that is as close as it gets come election time.

This coordination, of course, would be illegal. What's new for this administration?

Bush and his administration have now denied three times (to the press, on the record) of being associated or linked in any way with these ad's. Yet obviously there are very strong connections between them. Money and influence has obviously been bartered.

Mr. Perry, who has given $200,000 to the group, is the top donor to Republicans in the state, according to Texans for Public Justice, a nonpartisan group that tracks political donations. He donated $46,000 to President Bush's campaigns for governor in 1994 and 1998. In the 2002 election, the group said, he donated nearly $4 million to Texas candidates and political committees.

Mr. Rove, Mr. Bush's top political aide, recently said through a spokeswoman that he and Mr. Perry were longtime friends, ... Mr. Rove and Mr. Perry have been associates since at least 1986, when they both worked on the gubernatorial campaign of Bill Clements.

Mr. O'Neill said he had known Mr. Perry for 30 years. "I've represented many of his friends,'' Mr. O'Neill said. Mr. Perry did not respond to requests for comment.

No connection? None? None at all? HAHAHAHAHAHA. My mother fucking ass!
And some of you guys will believe this shit? Jesus fucking Christ!

This may indeed hurt Kerry's chances as people dont take the time to research and become informed (blind sheep) and his votes may take a direct hit as a result come election time. It certainley has been negative press that has been detrimental these past few days.

But Bush is trailing right now and this episode could finish Bush/Cheney long before Novemeber.

like I said,attack the accusers,not the allegations
I have been up and down and all over this story 1-2 weeks before it broke into mainstream america(posted up here in early august)
I frequent a couple of military history boards and Kerry is getting shredded
his medals are specious and then he bugged out, only to shit on his fellow vets primarily to launch his politcal career
I read everything I've come across on this from both sides, and Kerry doesn't look good
so some of the 250+ swift vets have republican ties
what about 60+ million that has been spent by Soros and such to smear Bush?
and Fahrenheit 9/11 is basically a Kerry campaign movie of bald faced lies showing in theaters around the country.
where is the outrage over that?
if 250+ vets came down on Bush, you better believe the press wiould have been all over it

Both parties are going to beat the shit out of each other and thoroughly disgust the voters.

Rove will engage in practices that will shock the most hardened of cynics.

I am expecting a third party to rise by virtue of the fall of our current parties.

Its official.

A former POW resigned (some are saying forced) as a volunteer to President Bush's re-election campaign Saturday after it was learned that he appeared in an anti-John Kerry ad sponsored by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

The Bush campaign has claimed no connection with the group which has led an attack on Kerry, the Democratic presidential candidate, questioning his war record in Vietnam and criticizing his testimony at a congressional hearing in 1971 in which Kerry alleged U.S. troops committed atrocities.

Retired Air Force Col. Ken Cordier, resigned as a member of the Bush campaign's veterans' steering committee after it was learned that he appeared with other former POWs in a 30-second ad, produced by the Swift Boat group, criticizing Kerry's congressional testimony.

That makes Bush a three time liar. And a violator of federal laws.

Now he wants to claim he did not know? Of course he will say he didnt know, its the only defense he has... ignorance.

But that also makes him a 4 time liar. In the past week.

Don't try to say he didnt lie... he said 3 times on record he had no links or connections to the SBVfT. When in fact he is neck deep in it.

Its part of his campaign.

Kerry filed a complaint with the FEC and the repubulicans later followed suit and filed thier own as well.
That just a case of them following a leader.

I just hope that fervent die-hards around these parts will come forth in this forum and admit that Bush and his administration lied to everyone this past week. Expressing some concern over the matter and of our country and its values. Especially when it concerns our nations highest elected position.

I can dream, at least. USA! USA! USA!
