sweet, blizzard warning issued for my state

so...tonight ima gonna put on some carhart, snowshoes and load up the nikon and gear to take some cool pics...and do it tomorrow too

I've been dying to play with low light shutter speeds and snow



wheres redshirt...I think the blizaard warning was issued for his area too

It's been a weird Winter thus far for everyone. I've heard it's been something like 50 years since Atlanta had snow on Christmas. This year it's been snowing on and off for over 24 hours now. Freakishly weird.
 
There's freeze warning today here where I live,I pretty much live in the beach in FL WTF!? temp's gonna be 30 degrees:worried:
 
yeah...my husbands family in Ky got around 6 inches yesterday...it effectively shut down transportation there...which makes me lolz a lil

ATL hasnt had snow on Xmas since 1882.
 
I can't help but laugh at the type of snowfall capable of shutting down large cities in the US and abroad, being Canadian and having driven through blizzards without a second thought more times than I can count. The recent turmoil in London caused by four inches of snow was especially amusing.
 
snow is crazy right now here in brooklyn! saw a city bus stuck in the middle of the street earlier, not to mention cars. one of my cousin's hubby's car is stuck somewhere, he's just gonna turn the heat up and nap in the back seat...poor guy.

Us upper-midwest doods are similarly laughing.

I can see it from a larger viewpoint, where they city cannot physically remove x amount of snow, and they have to essentially shut down the city... and the mayor dood is sitting up there watching thousands snownoobs crashing their cars, helplessly sighing to himself.

Then again, I'd probably freak out and slam on the brakes and crash into a light pole if I was driving down south and saw one of those dust ball things blow across the road, so maybe snownoobs have a point or something.

and while I shoveled around the truck whos plow is another town far far away...I muttered a lot.
storm inspired me to make homemade chicken soup and homemade french bread though :)

I blame myself, I wanted a simple camera but found a 14MP 15x Optical zoom one cheap and came with another small GE 8MP 3x zoom free which I used as a gift ... it's a GE X5... GE isnt known for cameras but all the reviews on the camera and the quality were awesome, maybe I'm unlucky.... I do love it though... takes panoramic pics with a sweep like the newer expensive Sony that Taylor Swift advertises :D
 
can you return it? or fight with the manufacturer over it?

I usually have good luck with emails to manufacturers if something is beyond returning
