can i do anything? lol couple of days ago... i got a DUI and had a suspended license...the cop didnt run my license so he didnt know it was suspended..but he did get my car towed.. anything i can do?

shit i got lucky he didnt check my license..and run it threw the comp.. he just gave me a 24

Don't you think they are going to find out, like when they process the DUI? In the USA you would lose your license either way. But with a suspended license it would be years.
Not sure how strict Canada is though. From what I've heard laws are more lax. I would be interested to know.

sorry to be the voice of negativity here, but help me understand something.
You know you have a suspended license, and you know if you get caught driving, you're screwed. So i would think that if you are going to drive, you'd stop at everything, drive 2 miles under the speed limit, and NOT DRINK??!!
what circumstances made you think it was okay to have a drink and get behind a wheel, especially when you have a suspended license?
(yes, i'm a judgmental bitch. I have a 17 and 18 year old out on the road and the thought of them getting hit by someone who's judgement was impaired by alcohol is maddening)

ontario has turned down my usa resident friend from entering windsor.
he got a dui and they withhold the right to decline entry.
same thing happened in bc to another acquaintance
a dumb move..and a mistake.
i guess well see what happens now.. fuck hopefully nothing to loongg.
better than waking up in a cell and having the guard tell you that you wiped out a family the night before
exactly.. learnt from my mistake... fuck might as well give up on drinking... nothing special anyways.. not addicted so i can quit.

This reminds me of a good joke.

and I think if you drink at ALL and get behind a wheel... especially with a suspended license.. you have a problem.
