Any types of sushi, or otehr Japanese food for that matter, good on the Ketogenic diet?

My girl wants me to eat Japanese tonight. The only thing I've ever heard of is Kobe :D

Sashimi fatty tuna or fatty salmon would be excellent. Remember, no rice or any rolls!

The only problem I have is keeping track of the calories, etc.

I am a SUSHI EXPERT!!! I LOVE IT anyway, here is my advice...Wait until CARB UP if you do go before than you are stuck with only eating sashimi, chicken, and habachi style meat.....

each roll has 1 cup of rice!!!

Usually 5 grams of carbs per 1 piece...!!!!!! 2grams of prtein and .5grams of fat!

PS...I am eating it tonight because I am on the Isocaloric 1/3 Diet

hm...i dont think salmon is high enough in fat and thus not ideal for keto. youre better off with some teryaki steak or some other high fat jap meat.

Blood Drinker... Your wrong, Teriyaki has alot of Carbs in it even when cooked in it, because th emeat is staying in it all day!!!
