There is this misconception that peeps with money aren't thrifty in many regards. I still remember how shocked I was when I saw the first wealthy man that I dated clipped coupons! It was SO FUNNY to see this dude with more money than God going through the Sunday paper (a weekly ritual) tearing out coupons.
It is all about spending your money on what YOU feel has value.
I dont know what I find more amusing: wealthy peeps who clip coupons and shop at the dollar store (I know MANY) or the middle class peeps that spend gobs of money on ridiculous items like T's and handbags or sunglasses to advertise to everyone else that they spent a lot of money on that particular thing while they can barely make rent!

Yeah, Biltmore is INCREDIBLE. I kept feeling a very strange feeling of deja vu when I was there, especially in the indoor swimming pool area. I could swear that I had been there before. It was a strange feeling.
I also wished that we could break free and look in all the rooms that are not on the tour. I wish they could restore the entire home.

Yeah, most people who I have known who were wealthy were still careful with their money. You don't stay wealthy very long if you blow it on really silly things. We are not Bill Gates rich by any stretch of the imagination, but we have enough to go on vacations every once in a while, etc. I look for deals at the grocery, use coupons, and look for cheap airfare on priceline, etc.
Yeah, the T-shirts with YSL emblazoned on them always make me laugh a little too, BM.

Ah those pics of the biltmore brought back good memories. My grandparents used to live about an hour away from there in a town called Lake Toxaway. Great times as a kid.

There are some beautiful lakes there, aren't there, delinquent. Just gorgeous. We had dinner that night at this B&B/lodge at Lake James. There was this picturesque lake with a backdrop of mountains behind it. I couldn't believe how pretty it was. We luckily got a table right by the window....so pretty!
