But what's the point of throwing the plat thing in his face all the time? Its a business. If you ran a business would you let people stand around your place telling all the customers how bad their product or service sucks?
It's a freaking chatboard to you. But this is how these people make their living. Do you really expect to screw with someones livelihood unchalleneged?

I gotta say, I'm all for sticking it to the man, but most of you have not quite figured out how to do it SUCCESSFULLY at EF. Instead, you all just bitch and whine and make empty childish threats.
Me thinks your goal is simply to get sympathy and attention. Otherwise you would be wise enough to have a better approach, one that would actually help to accomplish what you seem to want to accomplish.

no, that's lame. some (probably few) come here for information and interacting. there is a clear (not necessarily conscious) plan to garner attention in many people's posts. which is all good and fine - we all have different motives.
my point here is that people complaining like I have seen recently or being all tough and nasty and making threats - they're a dime a dozen. been happening for years and will continue to happen for years. it accomplishes nothing other than to satisfy some personal need to bitch or cry or moan or gain sympathy or empathy. if the goal is to induce change, this is NOT the way to go about it. (not speaking to anyone in particular, just my ramblings)

People are not shy here when it comes to disagreeing .... So what is the big deal if a Member points out a feature or policy that needs changing? And if they offer up the change itself and it works?
And if they are wrong, within a few hours they will be told so. I've noticed that if an offended party can just be patient for a few hours or even part of a day, others will jump in and counter the original post.
I'd let chefbone speak his mind as long as it was done in a constructive manner. I would not ban anyone unless they violated a fair TOS policy, especially those who can express themselves clearly and are not afraid.
That said .... violate the policy with hate, anger, discrimination, harassment, stalking ... (all the fun stuff), and you are gone.
