Mainly i use by BOSS BR-8 digital recording studio. Comes with zipdisk, built in effects, 8-track, drum rhythms, etc. etc. Digital Recorders rock. My bassist has a yamaha one and it is really sweet.
I also have a Yamaha DD55 drum machien where i can use drumsticks to hammer out a drum track/grooves/etc and record 'em.
Then i dump the whole thing to zipdisk or into the input iof my comptuer and use acid/fruit loops/pro toosl whatever i want to use to further master it, tweak it, whatever else iw ant to do. Then burn to cd. Then ta-da!
Though most recording i do nowadays is simple, boss br-8 in the rehearsal studio, hook a mic to it, guitar/bass, drum mic inputs into it. Record the band playing, then clean it up, master it, eq it and then dump to cd. Just quicker.

I recorded all this at my place excpet the vocals which we recorded at a 'real' studio (hey I'm not gonna drop $700+ on a tube mic). We burned em' onto CD, then I imported them into Cubase. I programmed the drum too.. they arent real.

I use cool edit pro to record with... it has a nice multitrack feature on it and i have my mackie running straight into it so i can use any instruments i want... that way i already have it on the cpu ... i also use acid, reason, soundforge and a slew of other programs.
of course almost all of my stuff is keyboards and since i want it to be perfect i quantize it first... altho lately i have been playing with timing and trying acoustic guitar (i'm not playing but i have a freind who does... those damn strings confuse me... where are the keys on a guitar, LOL)

hey got a question, what do you suggest as a GOOD keyboard, that well, not beginner, cuz that would mean if i get good, i'd have to buy another one..but something that can be used for piano, do zombie stuff, sequences, save to disk or computer, eerie effects, not to expensive, etc. etc. etc.
i need to learn keyboard, besides playing "chopsticks" evyertime i go to guitar center.

i think you should look for a good used ensoniq like the esq1 plus 32... it has good piano sounds and a lot of vector synthesis ability (kind of like a mini korg wavestation which i know zombie uses)

and when I was at the strongman show when bFold was up here, I'd say I was the only man or woman at the show that didn't have a goatee. I was totally the wuss at that one. there were three year olds there with better facial hair than me.
and yeah, the guy that kinda looks like me, looks totally gay.
I only look a little gay.
