Super Bowl contenders....and why

Testosterone boy said:
Might derive from watching the Broncos win 2 super bowls....followed by a new stadium.

A stadium called Invesco Finance. I mean Invesco Field.

Then wait 6 years before winning another play off game.

Plus....I read..and watch the news from time to time. :coffee:

Studied Operation Iraqi Oil Field enough to make me yearn for...travel.

We sure hope so.

Losing Elway left a hole in the Rocky Mtn psyche.

People will always argue who was the greatest all round qb ever. The arguments quiet when you state that Elway was the most exciting.

This I know. If all of the qb's were 22 again.....many coaches would draft #7....John Elway.

We didn't know how good we had it.

He does drink and womanize though. But many would when the ladies throw themselves at them.

I must admit, he was my childhood hero. He was one of the most exciting to watch but I swear to you, all those 4th quarter comebacks aged me about 10 years. What is it with the broncos that they can't just outright win a game, they have to come back all the time! My heart can't take it....but it is fun.
:)

I like plummer and bronco fans aren't exactly fair in comparing everyone to Elway, I mean the past is the past, but I do wonder how our new vanderbilt boy will do.

Under Shanahan the Broncos give up leads more often than coming from behind.

Reeves was better at calling impromptu plays.....when he had Elway to orchestrate things.

Plus the mile high air took its toll in the 4th quarter.

I think training in this altitude is supposed to give athletes more endurance....but less raw size and strength.
