Most dextrose is cheap and made of CORN STARCH, so you can replace it w/ the CS if you can stand the taste.

Crox said:Corn starch is used to make dextrose and maltodextrin (using controlled hydrolysis and and spray drying), corn starch is a long chained carbohydrate polymer, so i dont think its gona work the same as a simple sugar, ie. spiking your insulin level.
