Sturgeon fishing

Please tell me I'm not the only person here who thinks Sturgeon fishing is one of the coolest ways to share a case of beer with friends. Who else has been? Where did you go? How big was the sucker you finally dragged aboard? Did you run out of beer before heading to port? I want to hear fish stories.

Tried when I was a kid. I should say, when it was still possible cause today, the St-Lawrence river is polluted like hell so fishing there is a big no. But we do have some big ass sturgeons.

Hey there dirty~d~, ya get ahold of Mike M. for that sturgie trip yet? Biggest I've seen and hooked with clients on a few occasions is known by all locally on my home river as Bubba (been hooked and seen by many but never landed) estimated at around 18ft long. Largest I've ever landed (same sturgie 5 times over two years) another resident we call Bubba Jr was 9.5ft long as of this last Oct. Both still out there swimmin' along waitin' to be caught again!!
