stupidly simple dextrose question

I just want to make sure the the 'tsp' on the nutrion label means teaspoons, and that there are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon and 2 tablespoons in an ounce.

So to get 48g of dextrose, you add 2 fluid ounces of dextrose powder(teaspoon of dextrose = 4g of carb/sugar, 12 teaspoons = 4 tablespoons = 2 fluid ounces = 48g of carb/sugar).

Is that right? It just seems like it should be more for some reason.
